the computer is dead.

her motherboard in really bad shape.  if it wasn't such a rare and weird shaped computer, i could easily just replace it.  but now it would have to be specially ordered and it's a 5 yr old comp.  don't think it's worth it.

so i'm computer-less.

oh well.  life moves on.

i COMPLETELY understand why you might want to visit morro bay, cayucos, and cambria (estero bay), but please....DRIVE THE DAMN SPEED LIMIT.

while you might be on vacation, unfortunately the people who live out here are not.  we have to be at work on time and when assholes like you crowd up our tiny 1-2 lane hwys driving 40 in a 65 speed limit zone, or 10 in a 25 zone....it fucks with our schedule.

so please.

all i ask is that you drive within five miles per hour of the speed limit.  that's all.  i'm not asking you to speed.

also, i know you're excited to get to where you are trying to visit but please.  right turn signals mean you plan on turning right, not left.

i think i may have killed my computer.

but i'm not sure.

either way, it keeps telling me there's a disk read error and to restart.  it never gets passed that.  oddly enough, i have made NO attempt at getting it fixed.  i don't know why.  lately in life, i have become careless.  i really could CARE LESS about pretty much almost everything. 

the only thing i find that i am concerned about is that my hard drive might be fried.  i am not looking forward to asking everyone i know for pictures that they may or may not still have.  i am also disinterested in re-downloading ALL of the music i had. 

i just keep hoping that it's a hardware issue since i have been travelling back and forth with the computer but i think i am really just trying my best to avoid facing reality: i probably lost EVERYTHING because i am one of those morons who doesn't back up.

hmm what else can i rant on about....

i keep having these REALLY strange dreams/feelings.  i don't remember the details of what happens in them, but i never forget the feeling i get after i wake up.  it's almost haunting.  i would like to figure them out or for them to just freakin go away.  it just gets really annoying to walk around feeling uncomfortable about SOMETHING but you aren't sure what or why.  REALLY EFFING ANNOYING.  i can only hope that i am feeling like this for a legitimate reason and not because i am probably absolutely insane.

otherwise life is good.  had to cancel my san francisco trip that was planned for my birthday.   probably a good thing.  my birthday sucks anyway....always lands on memorial day weekend.

umm, i guess i'm done for now.  i really should be studying right now but i'm just wasting time.  i'll write another POINTLESS blog the next time i get access to a computer or if i feel like using the wii for internet.

There was some nasty problems with our last vps. We're at a new host, since our previous got bought out. This new vps seems to be coming along a lot nicer. Been rather busy, so it took me quite some time to get everything up and running. I'm sure no one noticed though.

this year after i was laid off my waitressing job, i decided i deserve to earn higher wages.  i don't deserve to continue to earn only minimum or even only a couple bucks over minimum.

i've spent the past month and a half interviewing for various different positions and finally found one.  finally, at least at this time it seems that i will no longer be broke. :)

to celebrate, i went out to buy a new phone.  lucky, i found a refurbished newer phone being offered for free.  all i had to pay was tax on the full price value of the phone, which came to about twenty bucks.  my music phone is only slighty longer than an ipod nano and it is just as slim.  i immediately sold my old phone, and both my ipods.  YAY!

the only other thing i can think of that i have been wanting was a wii.  i finally can afford to spend money on something so unnecessary.  omfg.

my new roommate and i begun the search today.  i visited: costco, 2 different gamestops, sears, best buy, circuit city, radioshack, target.  throughout the entire search we traveled probably a total of 50+ miles.

i really can't believe how difficult they are to find even today.  you can't buy them online anywhere except amazon or ebay unless you want it on backorder.  you still can't find them ANYWHERE because they don't stay on shelves longer than two hours.  no wonder people on craigslist, ebay, and amazon are still making such a profit off this console.  these things are still damn near impossible to find.

i kept saying, "i really just want to walk into someplace and there be only ONE left on the shelf."  Finally, we walk into wal-mart (with only one other big box store left to visit) and we find the absolute last wii until another week or so.

 YES!

i am beyond happy.  for the first time in my life there is not ONE single thing i can think of that i could want.  not ONE.

at least now when I play super smash bros there won't be any issues with my brand new machine >=)

i was really amused seeing dwight's second life character on the show the office....not thinking much of it....and then read an article today that mentioned someone's second life character.

so i finally google the damn thing and OMG it's effing real.

i got a text msg this morning at 8:45 in the morning wishing me a happy valentine's day and blahblahblahblah.  ok, that's great and all but thanks....at 8:45 in the damn morning on a thursday i am AT SCHOOL in the LIBRARY doing HW. 

yea so this morning i woke up on time but still managed to find a way to miss my shuttle, forcing me to drive 30 miles to north county.  because i was in a hurry, i just threw my phone in my bag not thinking much of it.  i ALWAYS keep my phone on silent once i get to school and often turn it off for some classes....but because i was in such a hurry i didnt think much of it this morning when i walked into the library....not really thinking someone would TXT ME AT 8 IN THE DAMN MORNING.

you see, i get calls and txts when im at school....but they are at more expected times...like 11am.  so at 8 in the morning im not usually RUSHING to shut off my phone...

if you are ever going to text me early in the morning and NEVER do it ass early in the morning unless it is an EMERGENCY.

thanks to you i was humiliated in the library with my phone going off LOUDLY and the librarian telling me, "WHEN YOU COME IN HERE TURN OFF YOUR PHONE!"

today the grades were posted.  i am pretty upset.  i got an A in english/critical thinking, a B in political science, and a C in history.  wtf.  a C?  are you kidding me?  i worked the hardest in that class and got the least to show for it.

i won't lie that i teared up for a few seconds after seeing the C. =/

i expected at least a b.
